Counselling.
Our lives are shaped by the relationships we experience, the environments we grow up in, and the stories we come to believe about ourselves. Sometimes those experiences leave us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain about who we are. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of those experiences, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been hidden, protected, or unheard.
My approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, guided through an attachment-based lens. I consider the many influences that shape who we are throughout our lives, including relationships, culture, and broader societal systems. Social justice, anti-oppression, anti-racism, community care, and decolonization are important foundations in my understanding of trauma-informed care.
My work is influenced by several therapeutic modalities and frameworks, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based CBT, and EMDR. I often integrate perspectives from biology, spirituality, and ancestral healing frameworks, recognizing the interconnected nature of mind, body, and lived experience.
I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Some of the areas we may explore together include trauma, anxiety, depression, core beliefs, self-worth, self-acceptance, attachment patterns, codependency, self-care, mindset, and strengthening connection to your intuition.

Yoga.
The journey to Self.
I honour yoga as an ancient wisdom tradition that originates from the Indian subcontinent and has been passed down through thousands of years of teachings and lived practice. At its heart, yoga is a profound inquiry into the nature of the mind and the human experience. It is expansive and all-encompassing—a philosophy and way of being that extends far beyond the physical practice of asana.
I acknowledge yoga as a path that has historically supported social awareness, compassion, and liberation, fostering connection to self, to others, and to the living and unseen world around us. With deep gratitude, I honour the countless teachers, lineages, and wisdom keepers who have preserved and shared these teachings, and I remain a lifelong student continuing to learn from those who guide me.
As a long-time practitioner, I experience yoga as a supportive framework for cultivating alignment between mind, body, and spirit. My early practice was rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, and my first teacher training was in Classical Hatha and Ashtanga traditions. I later completed my 300-hour YTT through the Modern Teacher Training program, and I enjoy weaving together both traditional and contemporary approaches to movement and practice.
I have also completed additional training in Trauma-Informed Yoga and integrate this perspective into my teaching.
My teaching draws inspiration from the full eight-limbed path of yoga as described in the classical teachings. I teach a range of asana styles, and my classes are accessible to practitioners of all levels. These include Yin, Restorative, Ashtanga, and Flow/Vinyasa.
